I am going to keep a list here of my favorite Christmas movies, to watch every December…Updating when I find new favorites. These are my “essential” holiday movies, as I would like to get into the habit of watching all of these with my kids every year! Not quite there yet, but I’ll get there! 🙂

First and foremost, the #1 MOST IMPORTANT to watch?

Scrooge, with Albert Finney (this is the musical)

After that, in no particular order:

  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
  • Frosty the Snowman
  • The Year Without a Santa Claus
  • Santa Claus is Coming to Town
  • Miracle on 34th Street (the original black and white, of course!)
  • White Christmas, with Bing Crosby
  • It’s a Wonderful Life
  • Charlie Brown Christmas
  • Elf
  • The Santa Clause (1 & 2)
  • The Grinch (the original animated one!)
  • The Christmas Story
  • Scrooged
  • Polar Express
  • Muppet Christmas Carol
