Last week on Facebook 5/28/14

I totally flaked on gathering the links posted to Facebook last weekend! WOOPS!

Here they are, the links I posted to the Homeschool Realm Facebook Page from May 18-24.

A Perfect Method for Keeping Unschooling Records–An unschooling mom shares her way of using Evernote for record keeping. Very detailed!

Even Better Bubble Dough–a neat recipe for a dough I’ve never heard of! I need to try this!

Dear Mom Judging the Mom on Her iPhone–GREAT article!!

Think You’re An Auditory Or Visual Learner? Scientists Say It’s Unlikely--Really interesting article that goes against so much that I’ve read about different learning styles! Intriguing!

National Alliance of Secular Homeschoolers Conference (page gone now)–the first national secular homeschooling conference, this Sept in Atlanta, Georgia!

hardscienceHard Science Channel on YouTube–My new favorite educational videos channel on YouTube!! Great, educational, funny and VERY well produced! Just screen first, because there are some adult topics briefly mentioned occasionally…nothing big, but those sensitive to minor curse words, minor innuendos and alcohol, should make sure to just watch each episode before sharing with their kiddos.

Minecraft Homeschool Summer Fun Camp–I shared this link before they were closed to registrations, but they are now full. But check the website for the next session of classes because my kids LOVE this! Fun and very educational! Great for your little Minecraft maniacs!

Books Should be Free–Alternative to Librivox (public domain audiobooks). Looks like it’s all Librivox recordings, but the site is arranged more visually and in a more easily navigable way.

How to Watch the Spectacular New ‘Camelopardalids’ Meteor Shower Tonight–Posted in time to watch the shower that never really happened. 🙁 But we didn’t know that at the time.
