Tuesday
- Watched some PBS in the morning (Cat in the Hat) (science)
- Decided she wanted to make the cats some cloth catnip bags (science)…Dragged out her sewing machine and whipped these up:
- Spent awhile making a couple stop motion movies (science/math):

- Spent a lot of time reading her current chapter book, Dragon’s Breath (Book 2 of the “Frog Princess” series….Finished the book today!) (language arts)
- After lunch we spent a few hours at Keizo’s house playing. Lots of running around playing and having fun. (socializing, P.E.)
- Started the next book in the Frog Princess series, Once Upon a Curse (language arts)
- Heard another chapter of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (read to her by Mom at bedtime) (language arts)
Pretty good day, despite the heat. 🙂
Wednesday
- Finished the book Once Upon a Curse (book 3 in E.D. Baker’s “Frog Princess” series…which she started yesterday!) (language arts)
- Read Ch. 3 & 4 of A History of US, The First Americans (BK 1) (history)
- Lesson in Sequential Spelling (language arts)
- Watched an episode of Nova (about seals/sea lions…we all were drawn to it…it was fascinating!) (science)
- Heard another chapter of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (language arts)
Thursday
- Watched some PBS (Dinosaur Train) (science)
- Listened to the audiobooks of Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery, Howliday Inn, & The Celery Stalks at Midnight (language arts)
- Played with new friends at ERCLC, at “Welcome Back” picnic (socializing)
- Painted (art project)
- Heard another chapter of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (language arts)
Friday

- Did chores (laundry, sweeping, cat food/water/litter boxes) (Home Ec)

- Went swimming for several hours with Thea, Clem, Thor, Keizo & Tyren (P.E./socializing)
