This is what it looks like when I am having a prod This is what it looks like when I am having a productive morning. We live in a 1955 house that we have yet to be able to afford to get fixed up (#alwaysbroke and #wearenotdiypeople ) also a #housefullofneurodiversity and other #mentalhealthissues so it’s always messy so this is my solution to our always disgusting kitchen. A sink filled with hot soapy water and a splash of bleach. Throw in anything gross in need of bleaching white. Let sit for a couple hours, as able. It should be lovely white again (mostly) at that point…for a little while at least. I have a day off today and am planning #bigthings !! This is just a start. My dopamine tends to be highest in the mornings after a (somewhat) restful night and I am on fire to get stuff done! Also took my #adhdmeds today (I don’t take them every day) and those should be kicking in soon so I need to get on the project I want to #hyperfocus on today before they do. That will be my website and the website for one of my jobs…both of which I am completely revamping. Taking FAR too long, as I keep running into issues. Well… @the_flylady says to start with a #shiny-sink so I am #offtoagoodstart ! #babysteps #dayoffprojects #babystepsflylady #cleaningday #letsgetstuffdone #adhdhyperfocus

Birthday month! First my hubby, then my daughter, Birthday month! First my hubby, then my daughter, and then me! Here’s my hubby with his #handmadegift from our daughter @maevedragoncreations Since she was little, she has given #handmadegifts and now she sells them at craft fairs and makes her own patterns! You can also see one of her gifts to me from years ago hanging from the ceiling in the room behind my hubby in this pic. That room is full of her creations! #handmadewithlove #craftygifts #nowheisolderthanme (for 9 days)
This pic just showed up in my FB memories, from 20 This pic just showed up in my FB memories, from 2013, with the text: “(My daughter) just texted me this pic from her bedroom, with the message: "Henna got in the way of my math, so I used her as a desk." Henna was our sweet kitty that we got as a tiny kitten with her sister in 1999, just after we were married & before we had kids. She lived to be 21yr a old! She is missed. ❤️ #catsofinstagram #homeschoolingwithcats #homeschoolingwithpets #mathwithcats #mathwithpets #homeschoollife #math #kitty #homeschooling #backintime

Just discovered these books last night at work. #b Just discovered these books last night at work. #booksellerlife They are historical fictions I think? Cute short books on various historical people/incidents. I am now going to have to dive in and see what else I can find in the series. I couldn’t find a series name yet. But the are published by the Smithsonian. If you know more about these, I’d love to know more!! I have dozens more #bookfinds like this that I need to find the time to share here! Every time I work (in the kids dept at my local Barnes & Noble) I find more amazing books!! #homeschoolbooks #kidsbooks #kidsbookstagram #kidshistoricalfiction #ilovekidsbooks #lookwhatifound
